DJ Shadow joins MCR Live after an incredible first 14 months for the network. Since our inception in February 2017, MCR Live has attracted global talent including Everything Everything and Bondax.  MCR Live aims to disrupt the radio and music space with programming from creatives, DJs and musicians across radio, podcasts, video and events unrestricted by genre and defined by quality.  The network was recently nominated as Best New/Rising Station in the world at the Mixcloud Online Radio Awards.

The podcast follows an exceptional couple of years for DJ Shadow.  In 2016 he celebrated the 20th anniversary of ground-breaking debut album Endtroducing (acknowledged by Guinness World Records as the first LP created entirely from samples), and the Bay Area producer also continued to innovate with new album The Mountain Will Fall, which includes his biggest single yet; Nobody Speak featuring Run The Jewels.  A massive worldwide tour followed – culminating in a sold out show at London’s Roundhouse – and Shadow also dropped The Mountain Has Fallen EP featuring collaborations with Nas, Danny Brown, and Oscar-winning film composer Steven Price.  Fans should expect more music in 2018.
