Family Tree and Off Beat Present: Hubie Davison & Tom Blip

Family Tree and Off Beat are causing a storm this Friday, taking over the basement of VERSIONS to bring you something truly special. For the first installment in a collaboration series spread over three days, these guys are bringing some of the most exciting artists in the Manchester, showcasing the city’s exciting upcoming talent.

Episode one of this instalment brings you an absolute belter as Family Tree and Off Beat are gassed to be presenting a double whammy of talent, Hubie Davison and Tom Blip.

You’ll probably have heard of Hubie Davison (Regraded / Leisure System)  for his stand out track ‘Sanctified’ back in 2015. Production genius and master of the decks, Davison’s talent is sure to blow you away as he takes to VERSIONS for a two hour set of some soul shivering disco and acid house. If you want a glimpse of what you can expect, check out his Boiler Room appearance in Belfast 2016.

Tom Blip (Blip Discs / West Friends) is certainly one you don’t want to be missing as he is guaranteed to go off! Having produced and released debut EP ‘Wrong Guanco’ and ‘heading a label which seeks to release nothing but tribal dance floor destroyers’, we’re extremely excited to see what Tom Blip will be providing on the night. Expect a two-hour set spinning everything from Afro-infused House to Dusty Disco Bangers this Friday and make sure you make it down because it’s certainly a one-off special.

Opening the night see’s DJ’s providing various beats including Hiren b2b Spencer b2b Zephyr b2b Lawrence b2b Jack b2b Archer. Tickets to this gig are priced at just £8 but are selling fast and can be purchased here.

Family Tree and Off Beat are also residents here at MCR Live, so if you want a taster of what they have to offer, head to our resident page and catch up on all their shows.
