The Shop Party: Round 2

After such a fab turnout in September, The Shop Party is making it’s way back to Ancoats for round two! On the second Friday of each month, we at MCR Live team up with Brooklyn Brewery, our lovely friends at Ancoats General Store and this month, a spooky new party partner, Meat Lust to throw a night of after work beer, beats and food.

Friday 13th is meant to be unlucky for some, but this week we’re inviting you to try your luck at Meat Lust’s very own hot wing challenge with a sauce specially curated to blow your socks off. Or maybe you fancy trying their Brooklyn-Beer matched dishes featuring their BBQ Mop, Buffalo, Ghost Chilli and Katsu Curry. If you try and then want to buy, you’re in luck, all these sauces will be on offer at The Shop Party. If this perhaps doesn’t float you’re boat, Meat Lust will also be offering Ramen Scotched Eggs for those of you who aren’t afraid to try something a little different! Oh and did we mention, food will be free on a first come first served basis!

The Brooklyn Brewery will be making their second appearance this Friday as it’s safe to say they quite enjoyed it last time. With loads of free samples, beer talks and games including ‘Beat The Brewery’ you can also get the chance to win the best prize of all… free booze.

And of course the music. Our very own residents ‘Beeswax’ and ‘Cartel’ will be the bringers of beats at this month’s Shop Party. Providing all the best hiphop, jazz and soul, Cartel will be hitting the decks from 5-7:30 with Beeswaxx taking over from then on. Want a taster of what Beeswaxx will be bringing? Here’s “Beeswaxx Presents The Menagerie” at Pirate Studio’s a couple of weeks ago!

So whether you’re after a polite after work beer or you’re ready to gear up for the weekend, make sure you pop in and say hi!

Also a massive thanks to Will Thompson Art for The Shop Party artwork.
