Soup Kitchen’s 7th Birthday: Live and late
Over the past few years, Soup Kitchen has been home to some of the best and most memorable gigs and parties in Manchester and this month it turns yet another year older. This Saturday 5th August Soup Kitchen is celebrating it’s 7th birthday and boy have they got a party in store for you.
For 12 whole hours (yes you heard that right!) they have some absolutely belting music playing including some incredible local DJ’s and Soup Kitchen residents who are heading over just for you. Live from 4pm you can expect the likes of Duds, Pink Pink, Witch Fever, Mold, Gorgeous Bully and The Bleachés with sets from Boogizm, Annabel Frazer, Garth Be and Macca carrying it on till late and I’m telling you now, you don’t want to be missing out!
Regardless of if you want to head down just for a few hours of if you’re set ready to party all day and all night, entry is just £3 on the door and there is a free bar for a limited time only – I repeat, FREE BAR, so make sure you get down early. Also if you get a bit peckish, or maybe went a lil too hard a lil too early and need something to soak all the alcohol up, they’ll still be serving their divine soupy delights for you to enjoy throughout the day.
Joining in on the day which will be free in the kitchen is Robert Parkinson (Teasers Pleasers), DJ Samrai (Swing Ting) and The M4 Record Store. Soup Kitchen is one of my absolute favourite venues and his event is bound to be huge and absolutely bouncing from 4pm all the way through till 4am so we’re inviting you all down to join in the fun!
